The current market system and the globalization of our food supply make it difficult for a small, family farm to make ends meet. A Growing Season follows Holland Marsh farmer John Gorzo Jr. from the spring planting to the fall harvest eight months later. He struggles with unpredictable weather, turbulent markets and rocky finances.
