2012 Film Festival Screenings

In the latter two weeks of May/2012, the Third Annual Multimedia Film Festival of York Region will be hosted by all nine municipalities as per the endorsement of their mayors and associated councils: Town of Georgina, Town of Markham, City of Vaughan, Town of Richmond Hill, Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Town of Newmarket, Town of East Gwillimbury, King Township, and the Town of Aurora. Most have booked their marquee venues to showcase submissions selected to be screened during the 2012 festival year!

Awards & Closing Gala 2012

The Awards & Closing Gala will include: delicious Hors d’ Oeuvres; lively entertainment (e.g. a jazz band, dance performances, etc.) intersperse with the presentation of coveted awards, displays of visual art, and the regal company of local and provincial dignitaries. Stay tuned!

Expected attendees to all associated events: politicians (e.g. mayors, MPs, MPPS etc.), a spectrum of community members and leaders, members of the arts community, human service professionals, public and Catholic Board staff, corporate figures, and the media.

Indeed, the Third Annual Multimedia Film Festival of York Region and associated events promise to be filled with pageantry, award presentations and celebration.
