Submission Rules

• Three (3) DVDs of your submission are required via post/mail along with a hardcopy of your completed submission form/application.
• Submissions must be sent by mail as well as upload to the Multimedia Film Festival's website.
• No entry fee is required.
• Submissions that promote/contain or allude to: gratuitous violence, excessive coarse language, explicit sexual content, or hate/discriminatory practices will not be considered.
• All submissions must be created on or after September 1st, 2009.
• A limit of two entries per person.
• Submissions must meet duration length as per each category.   
• VHS, BETA, digiBETA, and DV tapes will not be accepted.

Submission Details

• Post/Mail (3) DVDs of your film/photo-voice/multimedia along with a hardcopy of your completed application form by the deadline;

•  

• Upload a trailer of your film or photo-voice to the film festival’s website (3 minutes or less)

Deadline

The application form must be sent via email to the Film Development Council () and a three minute (or less) trailer uploaded to the multimedia film festival’s official website by 11:59p.m., March 09th, 2012.  The ability to upload trailers to the website will commence on November 01st, 2011. 

Similarly, the 3 DVDs of your submission along with a hardcopy of your completed application form must be received by the above stated deadline (March 09th, 2012) at the following address by 5:00pm:

The Film Development Council of York Region reserves all rights to deny or withdraw a submission from the film festival at anytime (e.g. during the adjudication stage, pre or post screening phase, etc.) with or without explanation!
